Main research interests: High Energy and Astroparticle Physics.

Principal Investigator (PI) for the Italian partecipation in the Calorimetric Electron Telescope (CALET) on the International Space Station, an international space mission financed by JAXA, ASI and NASA.
Coordinator of several R&D programs, funded by Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN), for the development of advanced instrumentation in high energy experiments at accelerators and in space.

Coordinator of the PhD School in Experimental Physics till 2020.
