Experimental physicist, she is responsible for the LIAD Laboratory where the effects of atom-surface interaction in the Visible-NIR range are studied. She has worked on: photoemission, light-controlled formation and evaporation and study of the optical properties of nanoparticles of alkali atoms in nanoporous glass matrices, study of hydrogen loading in graphene substrates, study of schemes for the quantum control of states in a cold atom magnetometer. Associate Professor of Experimental Physics of Matter, she teaches Laser Spectroscopy and Applied Optics and Complements of Physics I at the Degree Course in FTA.

MAIN SCIENTIFIC INTEREST
  1. Study of atom-surface interaction in the presence of laser radiation
  2. Optical properties of alkali metal nanoparticles in nanoporous glass matrices
  3. Optical characterization of graphene substrates functionalized for hydrogen loading
  4. Laser spectroscopy and its applications
