I have joined the University of Siena after an extensive experience abroad through Fermilab, the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, CERN and the University of Sussex. Aside from teaching, I devote my research effort to High Energy Physics, mostly through the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. I am also a member of the Particle Data Group and of the Muon Collider Collaboration (working towards feasibility studies and the design of a Muon Collider). I am also a keen participant to outreach events, in particular through the CERN festival programme. We take to various festivals across and outside Europe several initiatives (seminars, hands-on events, demonstrations etc.).
