Associate Professor, he conducts research at the Geotechnology Centre of the University of Siena. He graduated from the University of Pisa and obtained his PhD from the University of Basel (Switzerland). He worked at the Geological Survey of Italy (Sardinia) and has been at the University of Siena since 1999.
