Professor of Environmental Chemistry and Cultural Heritage, he carries out his research in the field of Environmental Physical Chemistry, with particular attention to the study of energy and entropic flows in ecosystems and anthropic systems, through environmental accounting methodologies (LCA) and sustainability indicators. She co-directs, together with Simone Bastianoni, Ecodynamics Group, a research group founded by Enzo Tiezzi, with the aim of defining, on a scientific basis, criteria and methodologies for sustainable and long-lasting development and developing increasingly accurate tools for understanding real physical processes and systems.
