I carry out research in the field of Astroparticle Physics with the MAGIC (Major Atmospheric Gamma Imaging Cherenkov telescope) and CTA (Cherenkov Telescope Array) experiments, the latter of which aims to build an array of Cherenkov telescopes of at least three different diameters, to be installed in each hemisphere.
I am an IEEE member and reviewer for numerous international journals. Since 2021 I am full professor at the University of Siena.
