She has currently a RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP position, for three years, law 240/2010- National recovery and resilience plan (NRRP) – NEXTGENERATION EU.
The scientific activity is focused on the fields of Environmental Chemistry and Environmental Physical Chemistry, with particular attention to the use of thermodynamics-based methodologies, methods, and indicators (Energy, Emergy, and Exergy Analysis), as well as Footprint-based approaches (Carbon, Water, Nitrogen, Ecological, etc.) to assess the sustainability of systems at various scales — from product-process systems to territorial ones — including activities and services such as tourism. In recent years, research has increasingly focused on the agrifood sector, employing Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to characterize potential environmental impacts and to support and integrate the calculation of Footprint-based indicators.
