The Environment Department continues to grow rapidly and will move in 2015 into a dedicated new building with extensive laboratory facilities at the heart of York’s Heslington West campus. As a component of its post-REF strategy, the Department is offering an exciting opportunity to be involved in this continued expansion. This position will be available for start from April 2014.
You will have an international reputation for research in areas of physical or environmental geography that will complement and enhance the existing strengths of the Department and the York Environmental Sustainability Institute. You will also contribute to the development of the Department’s taught programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and to the expansion of the PhD research programme.
Salary will be within the range: £46,400 - £53,765 per annum.
