TRAINING
The structure of the courses is divided into three main classes:
General education in Physics (1st year courses):
- introduction to high energy astroparticle physics
- introduction to relativistic quantum fields
- Introduction to atomic physics
Specific subjects for the training of the investigator (1st year courses):
- Statistical treatment and analysis of experimental data
- Experimental techniques in high energy and astroparticle physics
- Experimental techniques in quantum optics
The Instrumentation and Experimental Techniques courses focus on:
- traditional and avant-garde techniques in Spectroscopy and Quantum Optics
- experimental, traditional and avant-garde techniques and instrumentation in High Energy Physics and Astroparticle Physics.
Specialist seminars (2nd year courses) in the following disciplines:
- theoretical physics
- Atomic and molecular physics
- Spectroscopy
- Nuclear physics
- High energy physics
- Astroparticle physics
- Medical physics
