TECHNICAL DETAILS

Preparation of electron-transparent samples for TEM analysis (both powder and ion-thinned TEM grids). The lab is equipped with two ion milling instruments (DuoMill Gatan Model 600 and PIPS Gatan Model 691) and with several accessory instruments, among which Dimple-Grinder Gatan Model 656, Ultrasonic Disc Cutter Gatan 601, Carbon Coater Emitech K950.
