Astronomical Observatory

The Astronomical Observatory is a laboratory where university students, but also high school students involved in orientation activities,
learn to know the sky and to use the most modern tools and technologies for remote control of observations and for the acquisition and
analysis of astronomical images.

Mechanical Shop

The mechanical workshop deals with the creation of technical-scientific instrumentation used in the laboratories of the Physics Section of the Department.
It is equipped with equipment such as:
Hurco numerical control milling machine;
parallel lathe;
column drill;
machinery for cutting and sectioning wood and metal.
Three-dimensional CAD software is available for the design and drawing of mechanical components and assemblies.
